Wilma Elizabeth Caruthers

Wilma Elizabeth Caruthers, 86, of Paragould, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born January 31, 1926, in Searcy, she retired from St. Vincent Hospital as a nurse's aide. She is survived by four sons, Paul Caruthers of Lomita, California, Don Caruthers of Paragould, Joe Caruthers of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and David Caruthers of Little Rock; two daughters, Mary Harris of Fair Oaks, California, and Margaret Crawley of Cabot; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loal Caruthers; and one grandson, Joshua Caruthers. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 9th, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Larry McFadden officiating. Private interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.
