Dorothy May Shoemaker

Dorothy May Shoemaker, age 76, of Cabot, passed away July 5, 2012 in Cabot. She was born May 12, 1936 in Lanesville, N.Y. to the late William and Ruth Benjamin. She is also preceded in death by her husband Bryan James Shoemaker Sr.; one brother, Robert William Benjamin; and one sister, Gertrude Ethel Neal. Dorothy is survived by one son, Bryan James Shoemaker Jr. (Julia) of Cabot; one daughter, Christine McCullough (Allan) of Cabot; nephew, David Charles Neal of the home; seven grandchildren Bryan James III, Emily Mae, Erin Marie, Bonnie Lynn, Benjamin Andrew, Allan Ronald Jr., and Kathleen Annamaymarie; and six great-grandchildren Lillian Marie, Isabella Sky, Brayden James, Delylia Leann, Johnny Allan, and Rylan Blaze. Visitation Monday, July 9, 2012 at Old Austin United Methodist Church from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Old Austin United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment Mt.
