Marjorie Ann Middleton

Marjorie Ann Middleton, age 79, of Benton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012. She was born in Hot Springs on October 6, 1932 to the late Duffie Nixon Searcy and Ethyl Hortense Sanders Searcy. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist in Benton, and was known as "Nana" to her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bob Middleton and one brother, Larry Searcy. She is survived by her husband of almost sixty years, William Robert Middleton; one son, Mark Searcy Middleton and wife, Anita of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Cindy Middleton of Benton; three grandchildren, Matthew Middleton and wife, Tiffany, Meredith Middleton Carriker and husband, Matt, and Alexandra Middleton; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jonah, and Liam Middleton and Adalyn Carriker, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Benton with Rev. David Jones officiating. Graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Hot Springs Thursday afternoon. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Chastain, Kevin Chastain, Bud Busken, Steven Seals, Matt Middleton, and Matt Carriker. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
