Betty Jean Cozart, 82, of Benton passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. She was born on June 2, 1930 in Hot Springs, Ark. Betty loved crocheting, cross stitching, collecting angels and traveling to Branson. She was a loving mother who was always there for her family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Burl B. Cozart. She is survived by her children, Kathy Lynch of Bryant and Chris Cozart and his wife Judy of Mayflower; her grandchildren Sarah Vanya and her husband Robert, Shelley Purtle and her husband Blain, Stephen Lynch and his wife Maddy; and Phillip Lynch; her five great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Robert Vanya officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saline County Humane Society, P.O.
