Sharin Idelle Jones, 57, of White Hall, passed on to heaven Saturday, July 14, at her home, in the presence of her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Trenton, N.J. Sept. 22, 1954, to Annice Sakker Terry and Steven L.Terry. She graduated from Steinert High School in Hamilton Township, N.J., and attended Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, N.J. Her compassionate and caring nature was a light in the life of all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother and wife to her family and a master gardener. Her artistic talents were on display at schools, her church, and many community projects. She was also known for her sewing skills and her beautiful award-winning quilts. In her youth, she was a featured member and dancer with the Princeton Regional Ballet Society. She was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall, Lioness Club of White Hall, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Pine Bluff Quilters Guild. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Raymond Jones, whom she married on Nov. 28, 1981; children, Stephanie Eva Jackson and her husband Brian and granddaughter Aubrey Marie of Jonesboro, Jamie Lynn Jones of Little Rock, and J. Matthew Jones of Fayetteville; her parents, Richard and Annice Sware of Mercerville, New Jersey; sister, Jill Stacie Terry of Bristol, Penn. She was preceded in death by her brother Lee Terry, biological father Steven L. Terry, and aunt Bettie Schmidt Metcalf. Visitation Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors in Pine Bluff Arkansas. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Paul Williams officiating.
