Harold Truman Baber Jr.

A beloved Christian family man and caring doctor, Dr. Harold Truman Baber Jr., MD, 69, of Houston, passed on July 3, 2012 with his wife by his side. He was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on October 17, 1942 to Harold Truman Baber Sr. and Frances Louise Spivey Baber. Dr. Baber graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1960, Hendrix College in 1964, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 1968. After medical school he completed his internship at Hermann Hospital in Houston. Dr. Baber then completed a tour of duty as an Air Force doctor in Germany. In 1971 he met his wife Rosalind Baber in London. That same year they married at St Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston. He then began his family practice clinic at Houston Northwest Hospital, which he successfully ran, with his wife, for 40 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of more than 40 years, Rosalind Baber; his son, Jonathan Baber; his daughter, Roseanna Baber Hill and her husband Jason Hill; and his granddaughter Isabelle Hill. His mother Frances Louise Spivey Baber and his sister Helen Dunn and her family also survive him.
