FRANCES ROBIN LINDSEY, age 63, of Little Rock, died in Ashland, Ore., July 8, 2012. She was born in Little Rock to the late Robert Pugh and Mary Moses Lindsey. Robin was a graduate of Hall High School in Little Rock before receiving her B.A. degree from Queen's College in Charlotte, N.C., and her Master's of Social Work from University of Denver. Back in Little Rock Robin owned and operated the Old Arkansas Antique Store off of Barrett Road in West Little Rock as well as performing her Social Worker skills specializing in adolescence substance abuse. In 1999 she moved to Kingman, Ariz., carrying on her practice with the Walapi Indians on their reservation. After several years working on the reservation she moved to Mount Shasta, Calif. ending up in Ashland, Ore., where she was able to watch the whales migrating up and down the coast. She also loved snow shoeing, photography and the outdoors. Robin is survived by two sisters, Mero McCreery and Nancy Kane of Little Rock; three nieces, Meredith Flanagin and husband Frank, of Little Rock, Lindsey Munroe of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Errin Dean and husband, David of Little Rock. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham Street on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
