Zeta Monee Bratton

Zeta Monee Bratton, 86, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012. She was born May 5, 1926, in Kingsland, Arkansas to Sam and Azzie Burford. She worked and retired from Fairfield Communities Inc. after 23 years and was a longtime member of Markham Street Baptist Church. In retirement she enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, working in her garden and most of all, spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Houston Burford, Ulyss Burford, Erma Lou Rogers, Maurice Burford, and Hollis Burford. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jon Poteet of Benton; granddaughters, Jennifer Collins and husband, Chuck of Little Rock and Allison Poteet of Little Rock; great-grandson, Cruz Collins; brother, Learle Burford of Little Rock; and a sister, Jaunice Hennington of Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 501-661-9111. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
