Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, BRAZILLIE FRENCH, 92 of Maumelle, Ark., went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 27, 2012. She was born on May 31, 1920, in Success, Ark., to the late Edward Franklin Bush and Eliza Ellen Bush. She was married to Raymond Ralph French Sr. on Oct. 3, 1942. Brazillie assisted her husband in farming for many years and was known as the best cook around. She loved to sew, quilt, and craft, study her bible, listen to inspirational music and teach Sunday school. She was a member of the Prayer Warriors of Audubon Point where she lived and loved to play cards and dominoes with her family and bingo with her friends. Brazillie loved her church and has been a faithful member of churches in the community in which she lived including Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Harviell, Mo., North Park Baptist Church in Van Buren, Ark., and First Baptist of Maumelle where she was a beloved member of the Joy II Sunday School class. She was a steadfast and faithful wife to her husband of 34 years and a wonderful mother to her 10 children. In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ralph French Sr.; her son, Raymond Ralph French Jr., and two grandchildren, James Mitchell French and Specialist Dustin Cole Fisher. She is survived by daughters, Mary Williams of Maumelle, Ark., Jeanie Schultz and husband Frank Schultz of Hillsboro, Mo., Barbara Powell of Maumelle, Ark., Brenda Fisher of Van Buren, Ark., Ramona Freeman of Fayetteville, Ark., Jacalyn French of Albuquerque, N.M.; Deborah Keeter and husband, Brad Keeter of Van Buren Ark.; Tearesa French and husband, Kekura Mansaray of Denton, Md., Iris Rich and husband, Kenneth Rich of Salem, Ark.; and one brother, Edward Bush of Pocahontas, Ark. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as many of their spouses and her nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012 at First Baptist of Maumelle with Pastor Johnny Jackson officiating. Interment with a graveside service will be at Corning Cemetery in Corning, Ark. at 4 p.m. Grandsons of Mrs. French will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., (501)224-8300 in Little Rock.
