Charles Turner, 70, of Cibolo, Texas passed away Saturday, July 28th, 2012. He was born December 27th, 1941 in Scott, Arkansas to Ezra and Geneva Hill Turner. Charles was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to many. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them fishing, and working in his garden. He served as constable for the Gray township, and part-time Deputy Sherriff for Lonoke County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Turner. Cherishing his memory are his wife Betty Mealler Turner; children, William Turner (Ciela) of Tucson, Arizona, Robert Turner of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Richard Turner (Gina) of Cibolo, Texas, Jimmy Turner, and Margaret Turner Olive (Steve) of Lonoke, Arkansas; sisters Linda Pearcy of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Peggy Worthy of Sand Springs; grandchildren, Darrin, Alex, Jay, Jessica, and Rebecca; great-grandson, Draycen; god-daughter, Linda Redmenski; several nieces, nephews and countless friends. A celebration of Charles's life will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 2nd, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515.
