Ada Wynne Taillac

ADA WYNNE TAILLAC, of Little Rock, passed from this life on June 7, 2012. She was 91 years old. She was born June 17, 1920 in New Orleans, La., the daughter of William Howell and Ada Dayries Wynne. She was the loving and devoted wife of Lucien Maurice Taillac, who died Jan. 25, 2007, after 63 years of marriage. Ada was the mother of seven children, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Ada moved from New Orleans to Little Rock in 1965 and has lived here ever since. She was very active in her family and at Holy Souls Church. Ada was an active traveler and loved adventure, traveling the world with Lucien and her family. However, making a home was her specialty. She was a model wife, mother, and grandmother and was nearly continuously entertaining family at her home, right up to her passing. She will be missed by many but her memory will continue to inspire us. She is survived by her children Ada and husband Tom Brinsko, Jeanne and husband Michael Capoot, Lucien, Wynne, Howell and wife Kathy Taillac, Peter and wife Ruth Taillac, and Anne and husband Dane Clement; her grandchildren Thomas, Travis, Ada, Robert, Jeanne, Paul, Joseph, Conrad, William, Nathan, Lucien, Victoria, Peter, Elizabeth, Taylor, Dane-Paul, and Wynne Mary; and her great-grandchildren Todd, David, Hunter, Houston, Joshua, Victoria, Chance, Hannah, Mary, Michael, Christopher, Emily, Andrew, Jacob, Ada Katherine, and Matthew. Rosary service will be Monday June 11 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday June 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Souls Church with Msgr. Lawrence Frederick, Celebrant. Interment will be next to her husband at 12 noon Wednesday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
