Valmer Street in Little Rock. He graduated from Little Rock Senior High School in 1955. He married his sweetheart Mary Glenna (Bowers) Hooks in 1957 and they celebrated 55 years of marriage this year. He has two children, Robin L. Cook (Paul) and Robert G. He was a member of the Home Builder's Association, serving on the Board of Directors, Board of Appeals, Vice President, and President. As a builder, he enjoyed working with such charities as Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House and the Kirtley Project. Driving through the city one can see the numerous styles of homes Hooks built from one levels to quad-levels. Hooks' homes have always carried the theme "Quality" no matter the cost of the home. His expertise in a hands-on approach from foundation, framing, trim and cabinetry shows his commitment to "Quality Controlled Construction." Bob loved sharing his homemade peanut brittle with friends and family. He enjoyed nature and his koi ponds. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
