Anna Belle Clayton

Anna Belle Plunkett Clayton, 86, of Watson, Arkansas passed away on June 17, 2012 in Monticello, Arkansas. Mrs. Clayton was born on September 27, 1925 in Morrilton, Arkansas; she was the daughter of the late John Plunkett and Janie Venable Plunkett. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. Her parents, and husband, Allen "Buddie" Clayton and son, Charlie "Bo" Clayton preceded her in death. Survivors: are five daughters, Peggy Chapman of Tillar, Arkansas, Jeanie Pennington of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Glenda McEwen of Conway, Arkansas, Judy Smith of Sherwood, Arkansas and Jane Donley of Winchester, Arkansas, a brother, Drew Plunkett of Tillar, Arkansas and sister, Geneva Hammonds of Warner, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends during visitation on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Services held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2 p.m., Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Spencer Berry officiating burial following in Jefferson Cemetery.
