Kathryn Sehon Nash, of El Dorado, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Born in Huttig, Arkansas, on July 22, 1930, to Jesse Harlan and Cora Nash Sehon, Kathryn was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She served over fifty years as church pianist for several area churches and many years as a Sunday school teacher. For 38 years, she worked alongside her husband, James E. Nash, in the Nash Insurance Agency as office manager. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Cora Nash Sehon of Huttig, and a son-in-law, James R. Parnell, of Little Rock. Survivors are her husband and the love of her life for forty-eight years, James E. Nash; three daughters, Judith Nash Rogers, and her husband Bill, of Conway; Donna Nash Parnell-Beasley, and her husband Robert, of Little Rock; and Deborah Nash Pounders, and her husband, Michael, of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Jessica Lane Pounders, of Hot Springs; Leslie Ann Pounders Loe, and her husband, Bruce, of Hot Springs; Kathryn Ruth Pounders Harelson, and her husband, Kelsey, of Russellville; James Ryan Parnell, and his wife, Holly, of Yonkers, New York; Reid Cameron Parnell of Little Rock; Erin Camilla Rogers of Fayetteville; William Michael Rogers, and his wife, Abby, of Little Rock; one great-grandson, Samuel Jacob Parnell, and one great-granddaughter, Ariane Reneé Parnell, of Yonkers, New York; one sister, Relda Sehon Mainard, and her husband, Gerald, of Dallas, Texas; a brother-in-law, Bobby Nash, and his wife, Peggy, of Norphlet; several much-loved nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Becky Frisby Harbour (niece), Patricia Robinson, and Beverly Larry; the staff of Life Touch Hospice and the John R. Williamson Hospice House; and a host of friends. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday morning, June 28, at West Side Baptist Church. Private interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Visitation was held at Young's on Wednesday, June 27, from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan and the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
