Frank Calhoun Watkins, 77, of Little Rock, passed away March 11, 2012. Born in Little Rock to Guy Anderson and Maud Boyle Watkins, he was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, and retired from the board of directors of the 24 Hour Club, a club for recovering alcoholics. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Guy A. Watkins Jr., C. Murrelle "Sport" Watkins, and sisters, Virginia Watkins Turner and Carolyn Watkins, he is survived by his wife, Pat Watkins; son, Arthur Alexander Watkins; sister, Maude Watkins Simmons; step-daughter, Pam Dostart (David); step-son, Scott Goodfellow (Louise); nephew, Tom Stringfield; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Erik T. Pohlmeier on Thursday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls, followed by inurnment in the Holy Souls Columbarium. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Order of Missionaries for the Eucharistic Christ, 185 Flora Circle, Lehighton, Pa. 18235 or to one's favorite charity.
