John Ferguson

John Ferguson, 45, of Harvey, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Friday March 16, 2012 at a Fort Smith hospital. John was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting. He had a strong faith in God, and had a wonderful outlook on life that radiated through to his family and friends. He loved his dogs Stella and Blaze, and the New Orleans Saints. John is survived by his mother Juanita Ferguson of Harvey, Ark.; two brothers, Bruce Ferguson and wife Becky, Dennis Ferguson; one sister Kay Cargile and husband Dave. He was also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Boise Ferguson; grandparents, Harley and Freeda Ferguson, Ervin and Pearl Owens. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Harvey, Ark. with interment in the Monroe Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron, Ark. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
