Donald Lee Jones

Donald Lee Jones age 56, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was born October 21, 1955 in Del Rio, Texas to Lee Jones and Wanna Faye David Jones. He was a Captain for the Jacksonville Fire Department, where he served for over 31 years. He loved his family, work, and loved spending time hunting and fishing. He was the man who taught us true love, and how to love. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jones, children; Tracy Jones, Beverly Smiley and her husband Thomas, Donna Henderson, Teresa Myers, and Vernon Myers, brothers, Jon Jones, Michael Ray Jones, Bruce Jones, grandchildren; Tanner Hancock, Ali Sanders, Chance Smiley, Ashley Smiley, Daniel Smiley, Stephanie Henderson, Victoria Henderson, Paige Henderson, Dylan Shoptaw, and one great-grandson Brayden Harriman. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012 at McArthur Assembly of God. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at McArthur Assembly of God with Chaplain Joe Bratton of the Jacksonville Fire Department officiating.
