Charles W. Adkins, Sr., 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away March 26, 2012. He was born February 4, 1925 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Charles G. Adkins, Jr. and Bess W. Stevens Adkins. He was a retired engineer for Southwestern Bell and a member of the Brady Masonic Lodge #753 as a past worshipful master. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and World War II. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Patricia Adkins; and one sister, Betty McLaughlin. He is survived by one daughter, Deborah K. Adkins of Searcy; three sons, Charles W. Adkins Jr. (Kathy) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Duff Adkins (Nancy) of Searcy, Bryan Adkins (Connie) of Roland, Arkansas; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Doris Jean Dewees (Claude) of Dallas Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Masonic Rites and Military Honors. A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. Memorials made be made to a charity of your choice.
