Clayton Otwell of Little Rock passed away on October 30, 2012 at the age of 21. Clayton will be remembered most for his vivacious, fun-loving, free spirit. He had a great respect and admiration for nature, which was seen in his love of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and mountain climbing, and his interest in mineralogy. Another one of his defining characteristics was his devotion to serving and helping others. Clayton graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy this past May and was planning to begin a career based on helping and comforting others. On a day-to-day basis, he was remarkable for his ever-present smile and his eagerness to encourage and cheer his friends and loved ones. He was a constant source of fun and positivity to those in his life, and his light will be missed and his memory cherished. Clayton is survived by his mother and step-father, Dayna and Ted Duncan of Maumelle; his father and step-mother, Bruce and Betsy Otwell of Little Rock; his brother Corbin Otwell of Little Rock; and two grandmothers, Nancy Goss and Bonnie Sharp, both of Little Rock. He is also survived by his aunt, stepfamilies, cousins and many friends. A celebration of Clayton's life will be held on Sunday, November 11th at 2 p.m. at Allsopp Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. A memorial fund has been set up at gofundme.com/claytonotwell.
