Janice Marie Nichols

Janice Marie Nichols, 58, of Mabelvale transitioned on November 3, 2012. She was born December 12, 1953, to the late Johnnie M. Flowers-Adams and the late Leon C. Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and five siblings. Janice was a loving mother to her children Robert (Miah') Nichols Sr., Carla Nichols and Shalon Nichols; a loving daughter to a special mother, Bessie M. Williams; the loving sister of James (Barbara) Byers II, Michael (Delores) Flowers, Reginald (Myrtra) Adams, Andre (Tenitra) Otey Sr., Steven (Shuntay) Otey Sr., Tommy (Pat) Adams, Sharon L. Williams, Sharon A. Johnson, Yvonne (Verlon) Carroll, Bonita (Curtis) Walker, Wanda (Tyron) Chambers, and Lois Mack. She was the proud grandmother of Robert O. Nichols Jr. She leaves to treasure her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. The family hour will be held November 8, 2012, 7:30-8:30 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. The Funeral Service will be held November 9, 2012, 11 a.m., at Hoover Theressa United Methodist Church, 4000 W. 13th Street, Little Rock, with interment to follow at Rest in Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Ark.
