Martha Kate DuBose Green

Martha Kate DuBose Green, age 88, of Hermitage, Ark. died Friday, November 9th at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1924 in Hermitage, Ark. a daughter of the late Elbert Hudson DuBose Sr. and Wiloate Herring DuBose. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of the Hermitage Baptist Church and a foster Grand Parent at the Hermitage Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Rufus Green whom she married December 24, 1940 and he died Nov. 19, 1995. Also preceding her in death were brothers Hudson DuBose and Billie Max DuBose and sisters, Jessie Schroder, Cleo Gorman, Vada Davis, Peggy Jean DuBose and Willie DuBose. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Joe Green and spouse Sue, Elmhurst, Ill; Robert Edward Green and spouse Lynda, Star City, Ark.; a daughter, Dona Smith and spouse James E. Warren, Ark.; a brother, Perry Dubose and spouse Margie, Elmhurst, Ill.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 12th at Frazer's Chapel.
