Mardelle had a long-full life and was married to her husband, Tom Manning for 63 years. They had a wonderful life together traveling around the country and living in several different states during their marriage. Mardelle was proud to be the wife of a WWII Veteran and it is fitting that she went to be with him on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Mardelle was a fine Christian woman who dedicated all of her time to her family. Her interests involved talking about her life experiences, cooking, sewing, knitting & crocheting, gardening and being at her husband's side. Her fondest years were at their previous home on Greers Ferry Lake where they lived for 25 years in their retirement. After her husband Tom passed away, she found a wonderful new circle of dear friends at Shepherd's Cove in Little Rock whose friendship she treasured. Mardelle was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend and she will be greatly missed by all.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Doris, Bonnie and the other Caregivers that stayed with her during this last year. She was truly blessed to have such warm-caring people assist her during this final chapter of her life.
