Blande Perry, 90, originally of Blytheville, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2012 with his loved ones by his side. Mr. Perry lived a full life. His training in and love of radio afforded him a career of over 40 years as both announcer and engineer for KLRA, KAUL, and various other AM and FM stations throughout Arkansas. Blande and his devoted wife, LaVonne, settled in Mayflower, Arkansas and enjoyed a home on Lake Conway where Blande spent time fishing and working on his radio collection. His favorite place to spend time was at the beach with his family. Blande is preceded in death by his mother, father and a brother; infant daughter, Deborah Perry; daughter, Laura Perry-Paxton, and son, James Perry. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, LaVonne; daughters, Sherry Glover and Nancy Delgman; granddaughters, Michelle Montgomery, Lou Anne Wade (Larry), Jennifer Bratton, Lisa Jacuzzi (Casey); great-grandchild, Clay Perry Jacuzzi, and soon to be born Hattie Kate Jacuzzi. Open visitation will be held at Roller-Chenal 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 form 6-8 p.m., (501) 224-8300.
