Billy M. Phillips, 85 of Sherwood, Arkansas went home to live in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on November 15, 2012. Ann Phillips, his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, his children, Michael (Linda Jo) Phillips and Leigh Ann (Buddy) Harvey, grandchildren, Josh Harvey and Dane Phillips, and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Paris Phillips, as well as his extended family and friends will cherish wonderful memories of Bill. All who knew Bill would agree that he was one of the most kind, gentle, and faithful men who has ever lived. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and C.I. Phillips, and brother, C.K. Phillips. He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. He was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas, on October 19, 1927, and graduated from Jacksonville High school. He was retired from Westinghouse (North American Phillips). A celebration of Bills life will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in Sherwood on Monday, November 19th, 2012 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff, patients, and families at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation in North Little Rock, as well as the staff at Arkansas Hospice.
