Eleanor Jeannine Soule

Eleanor Jeannine Soule, age 83, of North Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She was born on April 3, 1929 in Durham, North Carolina to Reverend Vernon and Mildred Chalfant. She was preceded in death by her parents, and James Soule, her loving husband of 60 years. She is survived by one son, James Soule Jr. (Rhonda); one daughter Debra Hedden (Birchel); four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Pugh (Allen) and one brother, Franklin Chalfant (Ernestine). Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and a faithful member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, North Little Rock for many years. The family will like to acknowledge the loving care given by the Doctors and Nurses of Baptist Hospital, Springhill and Arkansas Hospice, St.Vincent, during Eleanor's final days of life. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, North Little Rock, Reverend Richard Mitchell officiating. The family will receive from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400).
