Mildred Wright Shipp

Mildred Wright Shipp, age 91, of Bryant, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Leatus Wright; her husband of 73 years, Cyril Shipp and a grandson, Kenny Harrell. Mildred was a 50 year member of Bauxite #81 and Bryant O.E.S., a Mother Advisor of Bauxite Bauxite Rainbow Assembly and a Grand Representative to British Columbia Canada. She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Kenneth) Davis of Sardis and Martha Barr of Searcy; five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 23 at Ashby Funeral Home.
