Kenneth Eugene Gahr

Mr. Kenneth Eugene "Coach" Gahr age 69, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Mr. Gahr was born October 6, 1943 in Memphis. He was the son of Charles Joseph Gahr and Irene Cornwell Gahr. Mr. Gahr was a teacher and coach in the Forrest City Public Schools and was a master plumber. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City. Mr. Gahr is survived by a daughter, Lana Gahr McMahen and husband Larry of Camden, Arkansas; two sisters, Stella Fields and husband Larry of Germantown, Tennessee and Rose Young of Wynne. He is also survived by two grandchildren Lauren and Landon McMahen. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
