MILTON HOLCOMBE "MITTY" WALTON, of North Little Rock, son of John David Walton Jr. and Ida Mae Holcombe Walton, passed away on Aug. 31, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Walton and his sister, Jill Warren. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Deanna Brockinton Walton; four brothers-in-law, Bill Warren, Steve Brockinton and Leon Brockinton, all of North Little Rock, and David Brockinton of Charleston, S.C.; his mother-in-law, Anne Young of North Little Rock; his nieces, Didi Sallings, Susan Pittman of Little Rock and Deborah Johnson of Winter Park, Fla.; his nephews, Mark Harrison of Orlando, Fla., Bill Warren Jr. of Charleston, Ark., Sean, Brad and Kevin Walton of Savannah, Ga., and his baby dog Yogi. Mitty attended U of A Fayetteville and UALR. He was an "Oilman" in Dallas Texas and a Golf professional, who taught many seasoned players to enjoy their game, and helped young players build their character, as well as achieve college scholarships throughout the country. He was a gentleman, a loving husband, a great friend, an avid sportsman, formidable competitor, a kind, compassionate, decent man, who touched many lives. Mitt was also a Christian, who has been called home to live in peace with our Lord. The family requests that memorials be made in honor of our military personnel to Fisher House Foundation. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at Rest Hills Memorial Park, Landers Road, North Little Rock.
