Yvonne Fielder Jackson

Yvonne Fielder Jackson, 77, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 12, 2012. She was born in Marion, La., and lived in Tulip, Ark., before making her home in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Andrew Lewis Jackson Jr. She was a retired Little Rock School District Elementary School Teacher, and a member of the Retired Educators Assoc. of Little Rock and others public schools; a UAMS Volunteer at the Reynolds Center on Aging and the Family Resource Center; a devoted and active member of St. Andrew A.M.E. Church; and a caring mother and wife who loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Marilyn Jackson, Andrew (Sharon) Jackson III, Antimore (Linda) Jackson, and Andre Jackson, all of Little Rock, Ark., and Anthony Jackson of Lithonia, Ga.; one sister, Willie Jean "Billie" Hawkins of Little Rock, Ark; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held on September 22, 2012, 11 am, at St. Andrew A.M.E. Church, 3003 Bishop St., Little Rock, Ark. 72206.
