Christine Lashlee

Christine U. Lashlee, age 79, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She was born March 22, 1933 in Malvern, Arkansas. Mrs. Lashlee was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Neill Carr and Ella Mae Carr and her husband, Jim Lashlee. She is survived by two sons, Paul Lashlee and wife Karen and David Lashlee and wife Elaine; daughter, Debra Weiss and husband Mark; sister, Pam Grigsby and husband Ronnie; four grandchildren, Rebecca Ragsdale and husband Chris, Jeremy Lashlee and wife Leeanne, Jessica Lashlee and fiancée Clark Yazza and Tonya Lashlee and fiancée Michael Payton and two great-grandchildren, Abby and Carter Ragsdale. Pallbearers will be Rick Crumby, Brad Crumby, Lester Carter, Roger Frazier, Ed Merrick and Rodney Asbury. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 27 at Ashby Funeral Home.
