Wilburn David Barnes

WILBURN DAVID BARNES, 79, of Little Rock, departed this life Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. He was born June 6, 1933 in Jerusalem, Ark. to the late David and Bibie Pierce Barnes. He graduated from Jerusalem High School and University of Arkansas at Little Rock; served in The U.S Army during The Korean War; owner of Barnes Construction; and was a member of South Highland Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma Shepherd Barnes; two sister, Alta Graham and Maxine Russell; one brother, Wayne Barnes. Survivors include one son Ricky Barnes of Little Rock. Graveside service with military honors will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
