Mary Lois Benson

Mary Lois Benson, was born January 25, 1932. Mary left this world to begin eternity with the Lord. She was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Mayflower, Ark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard S. Benson; a sister, Brenda Kennedy, and a brother, Tony Smith. She is survived by her son, David Turnage and her sister, Delores Smith, both of Florida; a brother, Robert Smith of North Oxford, Mass.; grandchildren, Choisey and Jacob Turnage of Fla; her extended family, Richard and Judy Mears with whom she resided and their children, Amanda Grace, Barbara Jeffery, Sherry Brewer, Paul Parker, Tosha Mitchell and Tonya Freelen, and many other family members and friends. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Funeral for Mary will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Conway, with burial to follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway. 501-327-5000.
