John Clayton Rogers, age 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born February 27, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan a son of Ted and Lucille Lewis Rogers. He was an offset pressman, and loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends, especially at his cabin atop Wildcat Mountain near Old Hickory, Arkansas. He was a member of 6th and Izard/Windsong Church of Christ and Wildcat Mountain Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Blankenship Rogers of Little Rock; one son, Clayton Rogers and wife Shawnya of Jerusalem; grandchildren, Courtnie Rogers Jones, Christopher Rogers and Calleigh Rogers; great-grandchildren, Aiden Jones and Jude Rogers; one sister, Barbara Rogers Holt and husband Wesley of Gentry; nieces, Marta Holt and Joelle (Kelly) Bradford; nephews, Charles (Michelle) Holt and Wesley (Brooke) Holt; numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Harris Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Robertstown Cemetery near Jerusalem, by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers will be Deon Lovin, Leon Kirk, Ken Bell, Joel Tippit, Charles Holt, Wesley L. Holt, Brad Brewer, and Fred Pogue. Honorary pallbearers will be J.R.
