Dolores Johnson

Dolores Johnson, age 90, passed away Aug. 2, 2013, in Knoxville, Tenn. She was born in Little Rock on July 17, 1923, the daughter of M.E. Michell and Eleanor Harlin Michell. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny (CE) Johnson and is survived by her son, Allen Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn. and many loving friends and relatives. For 38 years, Dolores Johnson was the Director of Personnel at the University of Arkansas Medical Center, retiring in the mid 1980's. She was a devoted member of the First Christian Church of Little Rock for many years. During her career in personnel, she was a member of Altrusa and the Personnel Association. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church, 1500 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, Ark. on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the First Christian Church or the Alzheimers Foundation.
