Sybil Jeannette Henderson

Sybil Jeannette Stambaugh Henderson, 76, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born August 8, 1936 in Stambaugh, Kentucky, daughter of Albert and Murrah Preston Stambaugh. Mrs. Henderson was reared and received her early education in Paintsville, graduating from Oil Springs High School. She was a loving homemaker who loved camping. Mrs. Henderson was a faithful member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Coleman; her parents; and seven siblings, Clyde Stambaugh, Dorothy Stambaugh, Don Stambaugh, Fred Stambaugh, Helen Stambaugh, Betty Williams and Hazel Stambaugh. Survivors include her husband, Rufus Leon Henderson of Pine Bluff; son, Dr. Doug Coleman of White Hall; daughter, Kathy Knight of White Hall; two step-sons, Michael and Mark Henderson, both of White Hall; step-daughter, Sherrie Freyer of Springfield, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Steve Monk and John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's. Online register: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
