Etta Auersperg Doss

Etta Auersperg Doss, 93, of Hazen, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2013. She was born in Hazen, Arkansas on February 29, 1920 to William and Rosa Freida Auersperg. Miss Etta proudly shared her music talents on the piano and organ for the Hazen United Methodist Church for many years. Her love of the Lord was always the primary focus of her life. Miss Etta touched many lives and all have unique stories to tell of remembrance. She always had loaves of homemade bread in the freezer because you could never have too many. She is survived by her husband, Warren Doss of Hazen; son, Rick Doss and his wife Paula of Little Rock, Ark.; grandson, Jacob Doss and his wife Larissa and great-grandsons Nathaniel and Greyson of Rockledge, Fla.; nephew, Dr. Charles W. Berry and wife Sandra Gayle Berry of Dallas, Texas; and nieces, Rosetta VanHouten and husband Rudy VanHouten of Hazen, Ark.; Freida Winkler of Little Rock. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. at the Hazen United Methodist Church in Hazen with services following at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Carolyn Doren officiating.
