Audra Muriel Dixon

Audra Muriel Dixon, 88 of Murfreesboro, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Murfreesboro. She was born on March 25, 1925 in Okolona, Ark., the daughter of Claude B. and Ruth B. Howard. She was a member of the Murfreesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Limuel F. Dixon; daughters, Gloria Jean and Vickey Lynn; son, Ronnie W. Dixon; and sister, Doris Spradlin. Survivors include one daughter, Dianne Risner and husband, Hobert of Murfreesboro; daughter-in-law, Kay Dixon of Olney, Texas; four grandchildren, Gary Risner, Phillip Risner and wife Kathy, Ronald Dixon and wife Amber, and Chrissy Williams and husband Wesley; and eight great-grandchildren, Colby and wife, Devon, Kai, Heidi, Railey, Laramie, Cutter, Emma, and Cailee. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Tommy Mounts and Roger Cox officiating. Burial to follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
