Patricia Farmer Douglass, age 79, of Crossett, Ark., passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at her home. She was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Crossett, Ark., to her parents, Rockford Gates and Bernice Ozell Naff Farmer. Mrs. Douglass was a member of West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Thad Anderson Douglass Sr. and a sister, Dorla McGilton. Survivors include a son, Thad A. Douglas Jr. (Terri) of Crossett, Ark.; two daughters, Debra McClain (John) of Grenada, Miss.; Deanna Powers (David) of Lake Village, Ark.; two brothers, Troy L. Farmer (Nell) of Crossett, Ark., Gary D. Farmer (Chloe); two sisters, Pam Thornton and Angie Rodgers (Roy), all of Hamburg, Ark.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. David Powers, Bro. Clayton Hales and Bro. Danny Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com) Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.
