Travis M. Turner

Travis M. Turner 87, of Little Rock entered into eternity on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her home. She was born April 10, 1925 in Monticello, Ark. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Lafayette Turner; her parents and eight siblings. She was a member of St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church. Her loving survivors include: daughter, Emma Jean Nunley (Johnnie) Little Rock; sons, Jimmy Lee Turner (Doris) and Levy L. Turner(Marilyn) both of Little Rock; step-son, Jimmy Brazil (Janice) Dallas, Texas; brother, Johnny Will Brown Milwaukee, Wis.; sisters, Blanche Gray Little Rock, Frankie Bell Dixon North Little Rock; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law. Special thanks to Baptist Health Hospice. Home going services will be Saturday, February 23, 2013, 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church, 2201 Brown Street, LR. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Family visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2013, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
