Ethel I. Feathers Chaffin, 89 went to be with the Lord, at 6:40 p.m., February 18, 2013 at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab. She was surrounded by her children, son, Donnie and wife Janis Feathers of Hensley, Ark.; daughters: Carolyn Feathers of Greenbrier, Linda and husband Jackie Fink of Ward, Ark. and Julie and husband Terry Woffard of Greenbrier. She is also survived by one sister Letha and brother-in-law Lawrence Ridgeway of Mayflower, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and friends, all waiting to meet again in heaven. We love you deeply and will miss you Mama, until then. Born May 27, 1923 in Solgohacia, Ark., she was of the Baptist faith. Ethel was preceded in death by her father, King Joseph Crowder; mother, Dona Elizabeth Younger Crowder; husband, Clyde James Feathers; daughter, Gwen Bain; brothers, Jeff Crowder, Virgil Crowder, Calvin Crowder and Hubert Crowder. The graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 22, at Mount Carmel Cemetery, in Cabot, with Bro. Keith Lewis officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Keith Feathers, Donald Feathers, Jake McNamee, Joe McNamee, Danny Fink and Andy Fink. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Bain, Mike Feathers, Tommy Capp and John McNamee.
