Russel Francis Jagoditsh, 90, of Hot Springs died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013. He was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. to the late Frank and Florence Hansen Jagoditsh. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Philip and sisters, Ellie Long and Mary Buss. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sullenberger Jagoditsh, daughters, Fran and husband Steve Hein, Mary Jo and husband Steve Scott and Kathy Searcy, and grandchildren, Elizabeth Searcy, John Scott and Collins Scott. Russ grew up in New London, Wis. and attended college at Lawrence College in Green Bay, Wis., majoring in paper chemistry. He came to Camden in 1946 with International Paper Co. and later went to Monroe, La. with Olin Kraft working in research. Russ and Betty celebrated 53 years together in 2012. Russ was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. A rosary will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or the charity of your choice.
