Joseph Wayne Glover, 88, of Carlisle, died Sunday, June 30, 2013. Wayne was employed by Mississippi River Fuel Transmission at the Carlisle Pumping Station for 25 years. Upon retiring, he owned and operated WAYNE'S FRAMES,framing pictures, artwork, and keepsakes for customers all over the Grand Prairie and across the state. Wayne and Minnie Quinn married on October 11, 1947 and raised two children, Larry and Nita. Wayne and Minnie enjoyed 52 years together raising their active family and enjoying their grandchildren until Minnie passed away in 1999. Later, Wayne met and married Syble Breckenridge of Beebe and they happily spent 13 years of marriage having great fun with Syble's family and watching Syble's grandchildren in all sorts of extracurricular activities. Wayne was truly blessed to be grandfather and great-grandfather to two wonderful families. Wayne is survived by his wife, Syble; children, Larry Glover and wife, Lyzette SanGermain and Nita Hardke and husband, David; grandchildren, Kristi (Will) Millard, Heather (Micah) Loyd, and Natalie Glover; great-grandchildren, Alison and Alivia Loyd, Mia Hurst, Addison and Peyton Millard; step-son, Keith (Carol) Breckenridge; step-daughters, LaBeth (Pat) Boroughs and Karen (Rick) Harrell; step-grandchildren, Shuyler Breckenridge, Chloe Breckenridge, Drake Boroughs, Derrick Boroughs, Taylor Harrell, and Kim MacConaugha and step-great-granddaughter, Aniyah Young. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Carlisle, Arkansas with burial in the Carlisle Cemetery. The family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 417, Carlisle, Arkansas 72024. Arrangements by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
