Paul J. Langley

Paul J. Langley, 85, of Crossett, Ark., passed away July 28, 2013. He spent his childhood in Warren, Ark. and then served a 5 year term in the Air Force. Then spent the remainder of his life in Crossett and retired from Bemis Company after being Plant Manager 37 years. He also served on the First National Bank Board of Directors and the S.A.D.C. and many other civic committees. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a Mason, a Shriner, and the chairman of the Port Authority Committee. Mr. Langley was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Gilliam Langley. His survivors include a daughter, Tina Powers and a granddaughter, Lindsay Powers, both of Crossett. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Church of Christ with Bro. Charles Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, Ark. under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com).
