Roger E. Curtis, Jr. 65, of Hot Springs, passed away suddenly at home on June 16, 2013. Roger was born December 29, 1947 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Throughout his life, Roger enjoyed, bought, and traded boats, cars, and motorcycles. He loved anything with a motor, even the riding lawnmower. But most of all he cherished the friendships he made on the road, the water, and in business. Roger worked for Arkansas Aluminum Alloys for thirty years and recently for Aluminum Resources, Inc. from home. Roger loved a gathering of friends, family, and food on or near the lake where he could tell them stories, tall-tales, and jokes from his childhood to the present. With Roger a hearty laugh or a proud boast were guaranteed. Roger is predeceased by his parents, Roger, Sr. and Charlene Curtis. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Flinn-Curtis; his sister, Terry (Mike) Cialone and their children Tracy (Aaron) Keck and daughters, Caroline and Madelyn; and Scott (Jacque) Cialone and son Justin and daughter, Jessica; and his sister, Sally Curtis Ware. A celebration/lunch will be held on Lake Hamilton at the lake home of Jim and Pam Austin, 204 Nelson Terrace, Mountain Pine, 71956 at noon on Saturday, June 22, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Charitable Christian Medical Clinic, 133 Arbor, Hot Springs, Ark. 71913. Guest may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
