Rosalinde Gilpin

Rosalinde Gilpin, 60, of Searcy, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born Sept. 1, 1953 in Baunach, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Barbara Weigler. Rosalinde is survived by her husband, Charles Gilpin; two daughters, Michelle Reynolds and Diana Gilpin; a son, Benjamin Gilpin; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Courtney and Matthew Reynolds, Daniel and Delilah Gilpin; two brothers, Otmar and Werner Weigler, a sister, Manuela Hürgerich of Germany; seven nieces and nephews, Tonya, Patrick, Marcus, Laura, Lea, Tom and Jeff. She is preceded in death by her parents. Rosalinde was a loving, devoted wife and mother. She was a strong woman who fought her illness valiantly, surviving much longer than expected. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Her cremains will be returned to Germany where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
