Marcus Shane Howell, 26, of Haskell, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. Shane was born November 6th, 1986 in Little Rock. He lived in Pine Bluff until age 9 when his family moved to Haskell. He graduated from Harmony Grove High School in 2005. Shane was a seven-year Band Member and loved to march and play the trumpet. He had many friends from Pine Bluff and Haskell and always surrounded himself with his friends. Shane dearly loved his family; parents: Kay and Gary Howell of Haskell; grandparents: Jane and Bill Craft of Cabot; aunt: Polly Benfell (Len) of Benton; uncle: Larry Craft (Debbie) of Benton; special cousins: Blaire and Scarlett Benfell, Doug Craft, Amy and Lori; aunts: Debbie Workman (Freddie) of Glendale; Carolyn Haller of Benton; cousins: Shawn Workman (Julie) of Glendale and many, many other friends and loved ones. Shane never met a stranger, would help anyone who needed it and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He always had a smile on his face and a helping hand for others, and made others laugh. He recently graduated from Diesel Driving Academy in Little Rock, achieving a goal he had wanted for many years. He excelled in this endeavor. Jokingly, he said he could haul anything from "milk to dynamite." Shane was scheduled to leave November 10th to start his trucking career in Dallas. Services for Shane will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel (501) 842-3939. Visitation will be at 6701 Hwy. 67 #10, Benton, Wednesday, November 6, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Tomberlin Cemetery in Coy, Arkansas. Donations may be made on Shane's behalf to the New Hope Living Center, 1522 Scott St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72202. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
