Dovie Lorene Terry Rice

DOVIE LORENE TERRY RICE, 90, of Little Rock passed away on Nov. 16, 2013. She was born on Sunday, Jan. 21, 1923 in Wooster to the late Andrew and Mary Ellen (Fox) Sampley. She was a good christian woman, who set an example for all. She was an angel to many. She loved to travel and had been to all the states with the exception of Hawaii. Her children and grandchildren remembers many times long shopping trips to the mall. She was a member of Gospel Assembly of Little Rock and recently attended East End Assembly in Hensley. She is survived by two sons, James Terry (Betty) and Ronald Terry (Pam); daughter, Betty Janski Wright (Ken); eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Terry and Wallace Rice; two brothers; and three sisters. Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Pastor Bobby Minick officitating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
