Juanita Mahaney, 83, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born June 15, 1930 in Edgemont, Arkansas to Robert and Edith (Robertson) Henry. She always had a heart for others she worked at Arkansas Children's Colony in Conway helping give care and love to many handicapped children and adults. She retired from there after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Claude Mahaney, Jr., her son, Waymon Mahaney, two brothers, Wesley Henry and Robert Henry, a sister, Lavona Tankersly. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Mahaney and wife Carolyn of Benton, Ark.; daughter, Beverly Trimble and husband Dick of Havana , Fla.; brother, Herbert Henry of Vilonia, Ark.; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Joan Allen of Shirley, Ark.; and Wanda Danel of Carmichael, Calif.; two special friends; Linda Baird and Marilyn Girton both of Conway and many relatives and close friends. Graveside service and burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Shady Grove Cemetery Shirley, Arkansas with Pastor John Graham of Oakgrove Assembly of God in Malvern.
