John Moll

John Joseph Moll, age 86, of Birdtown, Ark., passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013. He was born May 16, 1927 in Morrilton, the son of the late Peter Edward Moll and Katie Wiedower Moll. He was a retired supervisor for Crompton Arkansas Mills, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Morrilton and a past Conway County Fire Department Chief. He is survived by two daughters: Shirley Moll of Springdale, Sharon Scruggs and husband Butch of Springdale; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita McCoy Moll and son John Anthony Moll. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, Ark. with Father Jack Harris and Father Jim Burnie officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Center Ridge by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. A Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Harris Chapel.
