James "Ed" Krebs

James Edward "Ed" Krebs of Haskell, passed away on April 18, 2014 at the age of 90. Born on March 25, 1924 in Oregon. He retired from ALCOA. Ed leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Faye Anita (Callahan) Krebs, son, Mike Krebs (Sandy) of Haskell, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son Gerald Edward "Jerry" Krebs. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 21 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Haskell, where Ed was an active member. Pallbearers are Randy Clift, Terry Callahan, Gary Anderson, Casey Krebs, Chad Krebs, and Jordan Krebs. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Guest book, www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
